Bachelors in general mathematics in Charles university

The aim of the bachelor study program General Mathematics is to provide basics of different mathematical fields and to prepare students for study in mathematical master study programs in Czech Republic or abroad. The graduates of this traditional study program are capable of detailed analysis of difficult theoretical and practical problems. They are prepared primarily for continuing education in mathematical master programs, but their logical reasoning and creative approach to problem solving can be applied in a number of practical occupations.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
