One of the features of modern society is the interconnection of formerly independent fields of human activity. Transferring knowledge and skills between areas often leads to tremendous progress (in medicine, physics, chemistry and biology). The aim of the study program Mathematical Modeling is to educate graduates able to think critically and connect seemingly different scientific disciplines. The graduate will understand the physical principles of natural phenomena, their mathematical formulation and the subsequent numerical solution of mathematical equations. Such a combination of mathematics, physics, and computer sciences, in which the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics has a good tradition, is exceptional worldwide.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
