Program Overview

The study of philosophy deals with basic philosophical topics and problems from classical Greece to the present day, i.e. questions about the essence of man, our being in the world, ethics, education, politics or science. You will get to know ancient and medieval philosophy, modern thinking, continental and analytical philosophy of the 20th century. You will learn to think critically and argue correctly. You will step out of the shadow of history and find your way around past and present Czech and world thinking. You can also take part in the organization of conferences, workshops and collaborate with us on research projects.
