The Bachelor's degree course Orthodox Theology provides students with education as a preparation for clergy and pastoral work, but is of course open to all other people interested in Orthodox theology. It gives a comprehensive view of general Church history as well as of the history of Orthodoxy in our country and in the world and on the patrology. Students also learn about classical languages that traditionally form part of theological compendium, ie with Biblical Hebrew, New Testament Greek and Latin. In the area of systematic theology, emphasis is placed on a thorough introduction to the Orthodox dogmatics. In particular, the history of the text of the Old Testament and the New Testament is studied within the framework of the Bible.
