Bachelors in social pedagogy in Charles university

The study program (the program is without specialization) is focused on preparation for the performance of social pedagogical work and work in the social field. At the same time, it provides comprehensive preparation for follow-up studies in master degree programs of the same and related specialization. The theoretical basis of the study program is represented by social science disciplines, especially social and pedagogical (social pedagogy; ethopedy; psychology; sociology; fundamentals of law). However, emphasis is placed on acquiring practical skills and competences through applied and practically oriented subjects (leisure time pedagogy, methods of social and socio-pedagogical work, etc.), followed by intensive professional practice in relevant institutions and facilities.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
