Program Overview

A bachelor's degree graduate is a fully qualified social worker according to valid legislation. It is entitled to carry out social work activities, such as social diagnostics, solving social and legal problems in facilities providing social care services, social and legal counseling, analytical, methodological and conceptual activities in the social field, professional activities in facilities providing social prevention services, search activity, providing emergency assistance, social counseling and social rehabilitation, identifying the needs of the community's inhabitants and coordinating the provision of social services. Graduates can apply for the position of social worker in the field of state administration, self-government and non-profit organizations.

Additional Information & Requirements

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
