The program is conducted without specialization. Bioinformatics is a multidisciplinary discipline combining biology, statistics and informatics, which is why the Bioinformatics study program involves two faculties of Charles University in Prague, namely the Faculty of Science (Faculty of Science) with the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (MFF), which best cover the studied issues and where bioinformatic research. One subject is also provided by experts from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg. The study program focuses mainly on introducing key concepts and methodological approaches to mathematics, informatics and biology.
A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
