The field is intended for applicants for basic biological education, with which they will be able to carry out independent professional work in places requiring a wide biological or natural science perspective. The study of this field is also one of the usual precursors of the follow-up master's degree and is suitable for those who are not yet determined which areas of biology they want to pursue in the future or those who want to know different areas of biology before specializing. Comprehensive biological erudition provides the graduate with good prerequisites for the follow-up master's degree and enables him to apply in scientific-research laboratories of basic and applied research, universities, laboratory health facilities, state administration bodies, nature museums, botanical and zoos, etc.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
