Program Overview

The bachelor's study program enables the acquisition of complex knowledge in progressive, rapidly developing biological disciplines in two specializations - Experimental Biology and Experimental Plant Biology. It provides students with a broad theoretical foundation in general, cellular and molecular biology, genetics, physiology, microbiology, biophysics, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacology, with special emphasis on experimental work in a modern biological, biochemical and bioanalytical laboratory. Graduates have the option of continuing their studies in related fields or directly applying both at basic or applied research workplaces, as well as in the state and commercial spheres oriented towards healthcare, medicine, hygiene, pharmacy, food and agriculture.
