Program Overview

The Physics program provides basic knowledge of experimental and theoretical physics, mathematics and programming. In the third year of study, the student chooses compulsory optional subjects and the topic of the bachelor thesis (usually according to the field of the planned future master study) and gains practical knowledge in one of the following topics: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Geophysics, Meteorology and Climatology, Theoretical Physics, Condensed Physics systems and materials, optics and optoelectronics, surface physics and ionized environments, biophysics and chemical physics, nuclear and particle physics, mathematical and computer modeling in physics and technology.

Additional Information & Requirements

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
