Program Overview

The study program prepares students for creative work in mathematical, physical and technical fields and provides them with a sufficient basis for continuing master's studies in all physics-oriented fields, especially the master's study in Optics and Optoelectronics or Digital and Instrumental Optics. In addition to knowledge of physics, mathematics, programming and modern information technology, students will gain an overview in the areas of geometric, wave, quantum and statistical optics, optical measurements, and modern optoelectronic systems. Students will gain theoretical and experimental experience. They have both teaching and scientific laboratories engaged in basic and applied research in the fields of quantum optics, quantum informatics, singular optics and laser physics.
