Bachelors in Cultural Anthropology

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Palacky University

Program Overview

Cultural anthropology is a dynamic discipline that seeks to understand the socio-cultural processes that create the framework for human action. It is based on the immense plurality of human societies in time and space, in which it is possible to observe various forms of ecological adaptations, institutions and forms of social organization or ways of explaining the world. It is the scientific interest in this variety that allows not only a critical reflection of various forms of ethnocentrism, but also a rejection of exoticization and essentialization of otherness.
