The study program is divided into theoretical and practical teaching. The focus of the theoretical part is mastering the basic methodology and issues of the field of archaeology, including knowledge of individual prehistoric, protohistoric, medieval and early modern periods, especially these periods in the Central Moravian, Czech and Central European regions. The practical part is dedicated to artifactual archeology and work with individual archaeological objects, field archaeological research and teaching their documentation, processing and evaluation of the obtained material. It also includes practical teaching on the treatment and conservation of archaeological material, as well as the use of contemporary archaeological computer databases and programs.
