As the program exposes students to topics in mathematical economics, mathematical statistics and finance, applicants are required to have an excellent background in highschool mathematics. Prior knowledge of economics or finance is an advantage but it is not required. In addition, applicants should have a good command of English corresponding at least to B2 level under the CEFR system and they should be capable of reading textbooks of economics and mathematics without difficulties. Mandatory courses introduce the students to microeconomics, macroeconomics and provide students with nontrivial tools of mathematical analysis and statistics.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
