Program Overview

The graduate will acquire knowledge in theories of international relations, contemporary political philosophy, theories of democracy, main issues of comparative politics or undemocratic regimes and will be thoroughly acquainted with the historical development of Czech politics and Czech political thought. With a range of optional subjects, he will gain insight into the specific political issues of different regions and other issues political sciences, as well as the problems of Central European politics, political sociology, the history of international relations and the issue of international organizations. In the same way, he / she can focus in detail on issues of the Czech political system and constitutional law.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
