Program Overview

The program of study provides the basics in the main theoretical disciplines of psychology and special education. In the case of psychology, these are one- or two-semester courses in general, developmental, social, pedagogical, pathopsychology, psychology, etc. Considerable attention is paid to acquiring qualitative and quantitative methodology of psychological research, both at the level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The study includes a wide range of compulsory elective courses. The study program is designed to comply with the international requirements of the European Diploma in Psychology.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
