The graduate of the program is qualified to work on research and organizational tasks in the implementation of social analyzes and in the field of working with people. He is ready to perform basic organizational-operative, research and methodological tasks and can be used for management activities at lower levels of management. It is used in private organizations, in public administration and in the non-profit sector, eg in social and territorial development (within companies, municipal offices, employment offices, etc.), in public opinion and market research organizations, in the media ( in analytical departments and editorial work), in other organizations of the state administration and the non-profit sector.
A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605

The Sociology program, which specializes in Social Anthropology and the Study of Contemporary Societies, provides an overview of basic theories, concepts and concepts of classical and contemporary sociology. The study program leads to the methodology of sociological research (quantitative and qualitative), research techniques and methods of data processing and analysis, on the background of specific knowledge of statistics and logic. It equips students with knowledge of social practice, exploring social problems, the ability to critically read professional literature, discussing knowledge and their written presentations so that they can navigate the network of social relationships that the research situation brings, and they can act as experts or analysts of their kind as well as full-fledged citizens. SP systematically supports students' ability to critically assess the importance of social phenomena.
