Program Overview

The Geography and Planning license aims to give a general knowledge of the different aspects of geography: human and economic geography, physical and environmental geography, geopolitics, demography and regional planning. Its objective is the observation, analysis and understanding of the organization of terrestrial space at different geographical scales. The training is supplemented by instruction in methodological tools (cartography, GIS, statistics), by instruction in foreign languages and by field study trips. In addition, it opens up to other disciplines of the Humanities and Social Sciences: economics, sociology, history and prehistory.
