Musicology is the science of music in the widest conceivable meaning of the term and thus covers a spectrum stretching, for instance, from Greek Antiquity, to the symphony of 1800 , through to computer-supported composition programs, and from the music of the Chinese Sonq dynasty, to the operas of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, though to Rai.
