Program Overview

In the eight-semester bachelor's degree, the students first receive a solid basic education in the engineering and natural science core subjects mechanics, material properties and thermodynamics. In addition, knowledge of mathematics, chemistry and physics is imparted as a basis for the advanced lectures. Later, all students are trained in the relationships between structures, properties and treatment and in the technology of metals, polymers, and glass and ceramics. The theory and practice of integrating the material into the production process is also dealt with.
