The aim of the course is to master the spoken and written English language as well as a basic overview of today's linguistics, as well as comprehensive knowledge of text types in the target cultures (literary texts, specialist texts, everyday conversation, etc.) as well as current research fields and techniques of electronic processing.The students should be able to grasp intercultural and transcultural contexts and thus qualify for a variety of professional fields (international economy, media, cross-cultural private and public institutions, publishing, education, etc.).
