Program Overview

The philological-literary studies study applies to the Latin language and literature from the beginnings to late antiquity and even to the present day . The focus is on the period from the 2nd century BC, which is understood as 'classical' in a broader sense. to the 2nd century AD; Individual focus according to own interests is possible. The culture of Graeco-Roman antiquity is included as a whole Greek philology, classical archaeology, ancient history, possibly also philosophy, theology and reception in literature and art through the specified attendance of courses in the neighboring disciplines.

General higher education entrance qualification, subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, School-leaving certificate including transcript of grades, Certificate of University entrance exam, Certificate of studies transcript of records, degree, Copy of passport /identity card, Curriculum Vitae in tabular form primarily academic records Proof of German proficiency: can apply directly for a degree course if you provide proof a German level of at least B2, Exception: Applicants for Medicine, Dentistry and Molecular Medicine must prove German at at least level C1, International applicants who do not have direct entrance to higher education in Germany because their previous school and study achievements are not considered equivalent to the German Abitur can prepare specifically for their studies at the Studienkolleg
