University of Regensburg History
The University of Regensburg also known as Universitat Regensburg is a German public research university located in the city of Regensburg in Bavaria. The university was established on July 18, 1962, by Landtag of Bavaria after the discussions of the establishment of a university in Regensburg started in as early as 15th century.

The University of Regensburg is home to eleven faculties offering a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and research programs.
