The course provides students with an academic and methodological grounding in the language, literature and culture of French-speaking countries and regions. The objective of the course is to describe and interpret language, literature and culture and to develop the ability to process and communicate that knowledge. The aim is to deliver a broad course that will open up a range of different careers and give students the opportunity to specialize according to their own preferences during the course. A significant proportion of the content in all parts of the course is in the foreign language.
