BS German Studies in Technical Education

The subject of German Studies comprises the areas of literary studies, linguistics and teaching methodology. A basic module on each area provides students with an introduction to the key working techniques and an initial overview of the methods, topics and theories of the subject. Following these basic modules, students take a combination module comprising literature and linguistics content and expanding on content from the previous modules. Finally, the compulsory elective area gives students the opportunity to specialise in an area of interest, enabling them to select a module from a wide range of literature and linguistics courses.
