BA Hons Tourism and Hospitality Management

This programme is awarded by the University for the Creative Arts, an institution that has been ranked 13th out of all UK universities in The Guardian League Tables 2020 and ranked 7th in business, marketing and management (The Guardian League Tables 2021).During your BA, you'll learn about working in an international business environment through modules including: Economics for the Global Service Industry, Transportation: The Airline and Cruising Industry as well as Sustainable Tourism in the Developing World. You'll also have the opportunity to choose between either the Hospitality and Food and Beverage Pathway or Tourism and Events Management Pathway, depending on your career goals.The BA requires you to choose between the three or four-year International Route. The four-year route will include a foundation year which will help you develop core knowledge of creative business and management. Additionally, you'll be fully prepared for using English in academic work.Throughout the programme, you'll develop an expert knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry which is needed if you want to help your business to achieve its goals. Lectures, discussions and class visits will give you the opportunity to learn practical skills.
