Ancient History is the study of the political, social and religious institutions, practices and discourses of Ancient Greek and Roman culture, as well as the factors of cultural change. The course provides students with a chronological and systematic knowledge of history from the archaic period 8th century BC up to late antiquity 6th century AD.
