Program Overview

In the Bachelors degree in Prehistory and Early History, students acquire basic prehistoric and early historical overview knowledge of the archeology of Central Europe from the Stone Age to the late Middle Ages. At the same time, they gain insight into the more important methods of the subject. Finally, the students can competently apply the methods to the central issues of the subject. There is also the opportunity to learn about the range of methods used in related disciplines e.g. archaeobotany, archaeozoology, soil science, geophysics, GIS.

General higher education entrance qualification, subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, School-leaving certificate including transcript of grades, Certificate of University entrance exam, Certificate of studies transcript of records, degree, Copy of passport /identity card, Curriculum Vitae in tabular form primarily academic records Proof of German proficiency: can apply directly for a degree course if you provide proof a German level of at least B2, Exception: Applicants for Medicine, Dentistry and Molecular Medicine must prove German at at least level C1, International applicants who do not have direct entrance to higher education in Germany because their previous school and study achievements are not considered equivalent to the German Abitur can prepare specifically for their studies at the Studienkolleg
