The aim of the Pharmacy course is to qualify students as licensed pharmacists. At the university, future pharmacists are trained primarily in chemical, pharmaceutical-chemical, analytical, physiochemical, pharmaceutical-technological, medical-chemical, biopharmaceutical, biological and medical subjects. As natural scientists, pharmacists deal with medicines, focusing mainly on the development, production, quality control (e.g. analysis), and the provision of medicines in conformity with scientific guidelines. On the basis of a university course, which includes the subjects of Medicine/Pharmacology as well as Clinical Pharmacy, students are trained to become competent experts in medicines
