Pharmacy studies require an interest in and understanding of chemistry and biology as well as physiological-chemical reactions and laws that take place in humans, animals and plants. The care and reliability required for the professional handling of pharmaceuticals presupposes the willingness to work cleanly and conscientiously in all internships and to critically assess the results. Interest and understanding of physics, biology and mathematics should be present. Knowledge that goes beyond a scientifically shaped Abitur knowledge is not required. However, any additional knowledge and practical skills that have already been acquired make it easier to get started.
