The Bachelors degree in Mathematics provides students with basic knowledge, skills and methods in mathematics with a focus on practical relevance. This includes, for example, skilled use of modern computing equipment and the translation of non-mathematical problems, eg from technical and financial fields, into mathematical problems to be solved using suitable mathematical methods. In this context, students will develop skills to work together and to handle interdisciplinary issues. After the Bachelors degree, students can take the Masters degree or start a career as a mathematician.
