Program Overview

The aim of the Bachelors degree is to provide the broadest possible scientific basic education in the core subjects of chemistry inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry, biochemistry, theoretical chemistry including the necessary basics in mathematics and physics. This results in a fixed study program consisting of 13 compulsory modules. In addition, there is not a detailed, compulsory elective area with a relatively small scope. In addition to the lectures, the focus of the chemistry studies is on intensively supervised laboratory internships at the university, in which the theoretical knowledge acquired is immediately applied.

General higher education entrance qualification, subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, School-leaving certificate including transcript of grades, Certificate of University entrance exam, Certificate of studies transcript of records, degree, Copy of passport /identity card, Curriculum Vitae in tabular form primarily academic records Proof of German proficiency: can apply directly for a degree course if you provide proof a German level of at least B2, Exception: Applicants for Medicine, Dentistry and Molecular Medicine must prove German at at least level C1, International applicants who do not have direct entrance to higher education in Germany because their previous school and study achievements are not considered equivalent to the German Abitur can prepare specifically for their studies at the Studienkolleg
