Program Overview

Modern physics has decisively shaped our world view. Physics is the basis of all engineering and natural sciences and many technological developments are unthinkable without understanding the physical relationships. The bachelor's degree offers a comprehensive overview of the basics of physics and thus opens up access to current research directions such as elementary particle physics, astrophysics, quantum optics or solid state physics. In addition, there is a corresponding education in mathematics and the teaching of interdisciplinary qualifications such as the writing of scientific texts, technical-scientific programming and presentation skills in German and English. In addition, students acquire broad knowledge in the practice-oriented area of physics as well as in areas of other natural sciences or engineering.
