Program Overview

The study of the history and theory of rhetoric is a prerequisite for scientific work and sound practice. In the courses the students examine the most different rhetorical theories and models and present the results in papers and chores. They acquire knowledge of ancient rhetoric, deal with medieval and baroque eloquence as well as with the rhetoric of the 18th century and the contemporary rhetoric theory.

Should require Grade high school diploma,grade will be improved by up to 0.6 for vocational training, work experience, special educational background or extra-curricular achievements and qualifications that provide evidence of suitability for the program, Certified copy of diploma certificate, Passport Copy, Passport Photo, Applicants must be fluent in both English and German, Foreign applicants must demonstrate their abiliy to study by submitting one of the following two certificates: DSH , at least with the overall result DSH 2 or DSH 3 or TestDaF , in all partial examinations at least with the result 4 or 5 (level), Applicants with a German Bachelor Degree do not need proof of their German language skills, Letter of motivation (max. 1 page) in English or German, CV in tabular format in English or German, Certificate equivalent to the German Abitur certificate
