Program Overview

The bachelor degree program Nano-Science is aimed at prospective students with a broad interest in various natural sciences. In the first four semesters, solid theoretical as well as practical basic knowledge in the subjects of biology, chemistry and physics will be imparted. Based on this knowledge special courses and modules in nano-science are offered. This knowledge in its entirety will enable future graduates to enter the nanotechnology and nanoscience sector in research, development and production. Further qualification for the Master of Science (M. Sc.) Is possible.

Applicant should have university entrance qualification, there are no formal admission requirements, Good knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and a keen interest in these subjects are required for successful study. Good English skills are recommended for the study, The study and examination language is German. Individual courses can be conducted in English. Further literature is usually written in English. Therefore, English skills are required. However, formal proof of English is not required.
