Program Overview

There are numerous reasons to study Classical Archeology at the Christian-Albrechts-Universit t zu Kiel (CAU). One of them is certainly the excellent equipment of the library, which, together with the specialist holdings of the university library, is one of the best-equipped classical archaeological libraries in Germany. Archaeological books were acquired in Kiel as early as the middle of the 19th century and the institute itself was founded in 1895. Today the library of classical archeology comprises around 25,000 volumes.
