Program Overview

The aim of the course is to qualify students for international cooperation through knowledge of two languages and cultures and through the development of relevant cultural and mediation skills. It is about both the training of practical language skills and the acquisition of knowledge about the current linguistic, literary and mental cultural standards in their historical contexts and international networks as well as their difference to one's own culture. Furthermore, basic skills for practice-oriented intercultural problem solving and for a productive handling of foreign experiences are acquired.
