Program Overview

Geography is a modern science at the interface of natural and social sciences, which examines the earth's ecosystem and society's utilization of space. The research fields of geography extend from a regional to a global level. This research analyzes the processes and the spatial arrangements of natural structures (physical geography) on the one hand, and on the other hand the spatial structures created by man (human geography) as a basis of the organization of life. Research methods both of social and natural sciences are applied.
