Program Overview

Geography is much more than geography classes at school. The aim of the course is to record, analyze and design the spatial environment of people on a regional, national and partly global level. In addition to a broad basic knowledge of natural and human sciences, physical-geographical, geo-ecological, economic and social-geographical methods of recording are taught. Students at the University of Halle spend a lot of time in the field, in the laboratory and on the computer.
