Program Overview

Biomedical engineering (BME) has constantly been playing an integral role in advancing modern biomedical basic research and clinical practices thus ultimately improving health and quality of life. Recognizing many opportunities and challenges ahead in this rapidly changing field, our BEng(BME) programme (formerly known as the BEng in Medical Engineering) aims to train a new generation of biomedical engineers who can apply quantitative engineering analysis to understand the working principle of living systems, and design novel solutions to address unmet needs in biomedicine, especially for healthy ageing

Academic transcript(s) issued by high school / institution,An International Baccalaureate Diploma with 30 points out of 45 or equivalent,SAT Reasoning Test / ACT plus Writing and SAT Subject Test / Advanced Placement Test , A referee's report or reference letter completed by school principal or teacher, or by an academic referee, CV/Resume, A copy of identification document, IELTS or TOEFL test scores (An overall band of 6.5 in IELTS Academic Module, A score of 93 in the TOEFL internet-based test, or 583 in the paper-based test),Aptitude exercise,Proof of second language scores of HKDSE (Level 3 in Chinese Language; or Grade E in a language subject under Category C) OR HKALE (Grade E in AS Chinese Language and Culture or AL Chinese Literature)
