The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is a public research university. The university was established in the year 1911 and is situated in Pokfulam, Hong Kong. The University was also the first in the world which successfully isolated the Coronavirus.

The University of Hong Kong has five different campuses located in different areas of the city: Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The Medical campus, The Faculty of Dentistry, the Kadoorie Agricultural Research Centre and Swire Institute of Marine Science. The University comprises ten faculties: Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Business and Economics, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Law, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social Sciences and Graduate School.

The University of Hong Kong has around 28,744 Students, 16,809 Undergraduates, 11,935 Graduate students, and 3,901 faculty members.
