Earth System Science seeks to understand the Earth as an integrated system, including the past, present and future behaviour of the whole Earth System from the environments where life evolves on the surface to the interactions between the crust and its fluid envelopes (atmosphere and hydrosphere), with interests extending to the Earth s interior. Recent advancements in climate change have heightened the importance for humans to understand how Earth processes work together to regulate climate and circulation of oceans and atmosphere, how the Earth System responds under stress and how understanding Earth s geological past is key to predicting the Earth s future

Academic transcript(s) issued by high school / institution,An International Baccalaureate Diploma with 30 points out of 45 or equivalent,SAT Reasoning Test / ACT plus Writing and SAT Subject Test / Advanced Placement Test , A referee's report or reference letter completed by school principal or teacher, or by an academic referee, CV/Resume, A copy of identification document, IELTS or TOEFL test scores (An overall band of 6.5 in IELTS Academic Module, A score of 93 in the TOEFL internet-based test, or 583 in the paper-based test),Aptitude exercise,Proof of second language scores of HKDSE (Level 3 in Chinese Language; or Grade E in a language subject under Category C) OR HKALE (Grade E in AS Chinese Language and Culture or AL Chinese Literature)
