This programme equips graduates with the knowledge, techniques and reasoning skills to become qualified medical laboratory scientists. Graduates play an important role in a wide range of laboratory-based positions, particularly in hospital pathology laboratories. Their accurate and professional analysis of clinical samples aids physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. They are also qualified to pursue research careers in biomedical science or enter postgraduate studies.
