Hong Kong Polytechnic University is a public university which was established in 1937 in Hung Hom, Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Polytechnic University has five faculties and three schools: Faculty of Applied Science and Textiles, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Construction and Environment, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Humanities. The schools are: School of Nursing, School of Design and School of Hotel and Tourism Management.

Hong Kong Polytechnic University has more than 32,000 students.  The university has more than 1,200 faculty members.

Hong Kong Polytechnic University runs School of Hotel and Tourism Management in Hotel ICON. The university offers Sports Facilities, Recreational Facilities and Catering Facilities within the campus.
