Program Overview

At the end of the 3rd semester, students in the industrial engineering-informatics program choose a specialization and continue their studies within the framework of it from the 4th semester. The purpose of the specialization is the professional preparation of the cooperative education and the designation of the student's parent department. The prerequisite for choosing a specialization is the so-called Completion of the 1st study benchmark. The requirements of the milestone and the detailed rules for the selection of specialization are contained in the specialization selection regulations of the Plant Engineer-Informatics (BProf) training.
