Budapest University of Technology and Economics also known as BME is a technological university located in the city of Budapest in Hungary. The university was established in 1782 subsequently adopting various names such as Royal Joseph Polytechnic University, Joseph University of Technology and Economics, and Technical University of Budapest. It adopted its present name in the year 2000.
