The knowledge of the basic course corresponds to the training provided in the materials and smelting engineering courses of the previous training system. Our graduates are specialists in the structure and properties of materials, such as metals, ceramics, and plastics. They develop, design, manufacture and research the possibilities of new, modern structural materials, such as high-purity metals, high-strength metal alloys, glasses, and binders. For this, students must learn the relationships between the composition, structure and properties of different materials.
