The purpose of the training is to train IT librarians, who acquire librarian knowledge and modern IT knowledge, possessing which they are able to fill positions that require practical expertise in different types of libraries, as well as in organizations that perform information, information processing and transmission tasks. They are capable of mediating knowledge, information and culture, providing assistance in the acquisition of digital literacy and information literacy, in the process of lifelong learning.
