Program Overview

Our training in classical Hebrew and Aramaic is nationally outstanding. Language learning starts right away in the first semester. The students get to know the letters1 learn to read1 and master the phonetic and morphological foundations of the classical Hebrew language. In the second semester1 through an easier biblical text1 they gain insight into the formal and content requirements of syntax and the narrative genre1 while they can study the history and customs of ancient Israel from the source text1 in the original language.
