By the end of the basic geography course (BSc)1 our students have a thorough knowledge of our Earth1 especially the natural1 social and economic geographical development processes and current conditions of Europe and our country1 as well as a modern geographical outlook1 and they have an adequate overview of the most important specialized fields and results of the related sciences. In addition1 during the training1 they acquire the theoretical and methodological foundations necessary for the comprehensive assessment of the natural1 socio-economic and settlement environment1 they have practical knowledge of the systems of the geographical environment and their operation1 and they are also able to participate in decision-making processes by preparing in-depth research analyses.
